This is one of my favorites. Its really cool at around 2:42 when it shows the lasers from the telescopes.

0 |

Yeah, that one is class. I love how the telescopes move so perfectly with the sky.

Google bulb ramping before doing a timelapse. It's a brilliant technique for doing impressive day to night stuff that doesn't flickr all over the place or over/under expose.

A History of the Sky
from Ken Murphy PLUS 1 year ago NOT YET RATED

This is a year-long time-lapse study of the sky. A camera installed on the roof of the Exploratorium museum in San Francisco captured an image of the sky every 10 seconds. From these images, I created a mosaic of time-lapse movies, each showing a single day. The days are arranged in chronological order. My intent was to reveal the patterns of light and weather over the course of a year.

Off the usual topic of nature related timelapses... this one is still stunning!

NIGHTVISION

Nightvision is a celebration of the brilliance and diversity of architecture found across Europe. Over the course of three months I journeyed with a friend through 36 cities in 21 countries with the ambition of capturing some of the greatest European structures in a new and unique way. Comprised of thousands of carefully taken photographs, strung together and stabilized in post-production, Nightvision aims to inspire appreciation for these man-made landmarks.

10328x7760 - A 10K Timelapse Demo

"10328x7760 - A 10K Timelapse Demo" is a video I put together showcasing the extreme resolution of the PhaseOne IQ180 camera of which it was shot. This footage comes from some shots I did while shooting 4K and 8K timelapses in Rio De Janeiro for a major electronics manufacturer. Each shot is comprised of hundreds individual still images, each weighing in at a whopping 80 megapixels. Each individual raw frame measures 10328x7760 pixels.
