right so I want to say 'its all about taste'

but replace taste with the Spanish word for taste

Im getting 'el gusto' and 'el sabor'

which is correct/most common? el sabor actually (i think) means flavour while 'el gusto' means 'good taste' as in having good taste in something, but my fricking whole 'its all about taste' means both...good taste in food and good flavour

hmmmmm google translate etc isnt helping need some clear answers lol

Gusto is taste as in the sense.
Sabor is taste as in the flavour.

But drop the el, you don't need it.

"it's a matter of gusto" should be the phrase you use.

I knew one day a level Spanish would be useful.

can i use the 'el' though, its more friendly, looks/sounds better..?

'el slabbor'

You don't need the article for el when talking in Spanish, usually.

"its all about taste"

el sabor es todo (food)...probably too literal. in Spain they likely have something more colloquial to say something like this.

gusto es todo (taste as in fashion taste for example)

Bit like Gerry Adams does when he's talking in Irish?

You can leave the el in if you want though, won't do any harm.
