I was pricing/looking at flights for Korea recently. Korean Air are the country's national airline and are well recommended. However Air Asiana (also South Korea based) are consistently voted as one of the top airlines in the world for service, comfort and luxury. Might be worth checking them out.

I flew Asiana a few yrs ago- had a layover in s.Korea- 5star hotel dinner and brekkie included and shuttles from the airport- loved it- go a night out and shopping and a good nights sleep in Korea and broke the journey up nicely

it's kinda true though that economy flights on most airlines are much of a muchness. The Boeing/Airbus duopoly mean that all long-haul planes have almost exactly the same cabin lay-out. Do your online check-in as soon as it opens and chose the seat you want. and bring spare socks.

0 |

dont think there is online check in for this wan, i could be wrong. i like windie seats on long flights. spare socks, nah

service is what i was askin about, this differs greatly

the food and wee packets of nibbles and stuff they give you on air india are nice. and those indian gowns the girls wear are pretty hot.

i would recommend getting a seat in the middle block of four. they fill these last and you're more likely to get a few seats to yourself. They often allocate the seats at the back last so it's emptier. I was sharing the block of four with one other person last time and she fell asleep in her seat so i lay across the other 3 and slept like a log all the way.

had a few rows at the back of the plane to myself on a thai airways flight before. just if you were ever wondering. whether id had that before.

0 |

A few rows? How did you take advantage of that? Quite hard to occupy more than one row but you seem inventive
