Looking to do 4 nights for a stag in May. What sort of dough we talking? Accommodation doesn't have to be the swankiest. Any info at all would help. Cheers.

Las Vegas (/lɑːs ˈveɪɡəs/) is the most populous city in the U.S. state of Nevada and the county seat of Clark County.[4] Las Vegas is an internationally renowned major resort city for gambling, shopping, and fine dining. The city bills itself as The Entertainment Capital of the World, and is famous for its consolidated casino–hotels and associated entertainment. A growing retirement and family city, Las Vegas is the 28th-most populous city in the United States, with a population at the 2010 census of 583,756. The 2010 population of the Las Vegas metropolitan area was 1,951,269.

In terms of what sort of dough, I believe the locals use a currency known as the 'dollar', but I may be wrong, as it's quite an obscure destination.

Good input J-Roc you penis.

On a stag - £200-300 per day.

Can be done on much less, but if your going to clubs/pools, its bottle service and this is $100 per guy min per club.

This is nt even taking into account gambling which over four night could be ridiculous if the shit hits. Bring a budget and stick to it

Flights £700 and accomodation ranges from $60 a room in circus circus to $290 in the Encore. Pool at the encore or mandalay bay is awesome and worth the extra $$$ for day time frolicking.

Did I mention eating / excursions....? or strip clubs

in vegas a few weeks ago with work and hated it- nothing worse than getting up to go to work and having to walk through a casino at 6 in the morning, it full of cunts smoking, machines going ding-dust, the smell of disappointment in the air.

I hope i never have to go back.

Contrary to Eds advice, the best thing about vegas, is that at 6am, there's still a party.

We traveled for 18 hours to get there (with delays), lost 7 hours in time, arriving at 4am and still managed to party through to the next night.

Great for couples too. Cant imagine bringing childer near the place though. In fact I frequent the over 21 pools solely to avoid the presence of children.

Back on topic:

Do table service
Do tip your host
Dont fuck up your hotel room
That 10/10girl eyeing you up is a prostitute - get over it or pay.
Always bet on black

Was there couple of years ago for 10 days, stayed in Orleans (dont bother, nice hotel an all but being of strip is a pain) an flamingo, would def reccomend the 'go' rooms in the flamingo, good price, great location and there is even real flamingo's u can chase around the hotel grounds with a mad russia when hammered on free long island ice tea's. Ended up spending $6/7k, but that was due to some unwise financial planning on my part and a black hooker called Destiny (we were just friends) who had speedy access to some of the best crack rock ive had north of the Mexican border.

Tip, play craps - easily the most fun game, and if you play the dont pass line, everyone will hate you, but its the best odds gamble in Vegas. Its also quiet slow so good value as long as u don't succumb to the croupiers requests to 'press it up', I still remember the horror of seeing that 7 land after pressing all my bets for 10/12 rolls...

Play plenty of poker as well, u meet some mad bastards. AAnd the drink is always free, strong and frequent.

Enjoy, id go back.

Flamingo or Excalibur? have been before but at neither of these hotels

Can get a good rate on the 'Go' rooms in the flamingo at the minute and might just opt for them

0 |

was there 3 weeks ago ,,,1500
quid spending gone in 4 days,,thats booze food and gambling, circus circus is 25 dollers a night if ur lookin a cheap one

0 |

Want somewhere further up the strip and a wee bit nicer, drinks prices gone up then or where you going nuts in the casinos?

0 |

All the hotels are in cahoots when it comes to prices depending on how busy the town is and rates vary massively. I was backpacking so did it on the cheap - stayed in Bills Gambling Hall which was on the strip, was decent and cheap as fuck when I was there. Playing little poker tournaments is great value as unless you are shite you have a decent chance of winning money and get free booze :)
