Need tp buy a couple for work. Just work in a office, not looking anything fancy, certainly not looking to pay over 130 - 150. Any offers on anywhere or does anyone know of somewere decent to pick up some suits on the chape.

Nowt wrong with TK Maxx apart from having to hoke for stuff. Although can never find nice shoes in it.

0 |

The mawn got a class pair of Ted baker shoes half price, think they ende dup being £60 or £80 or something. Smart too.

I love it for homewares! Loads of Jamie Oliver ktichen stuff, wine glasses etc for dort chep.

I own a suit. Got it in tk max. Cost about 110. Few years ago though.

0 |

I used to spend £200+ on suits, I even picked one up out of carter for near £500 a few years ago... but as with every suit I have ever owned (either cheap or expensive) they always end up fucked, ripped, stained, worn etc... regardless of quality.
So.. I totally agree getting something passable, well fitted but not overly expensive is the way to go for work suits.
Zara, whilst mostly filled with bad quality suits, do have the occasional wonder suit amongst the shit - worth a look and if you get the Zara sale then you are laughing...
M&S is OK but more suited to the older man (no pun intended!)
Most independent suit shops should do you a deal & if you say you only want to spend £150 they will usually accommodate.

0 |

How do.

150 can get you a decent suit. marks and spencer sale, zara, house of fraser, tk maxx, all good.

especially in tk maxx youll need to know how it ought to fit -

no more than 3/4 of an inch from curve of ur shoulder to the end of the shoulder pad, button first button only and pull to max, no more than 3-4 inches give, sleeves finish where hand meets wrist, no more than 1 inch pull at waist and only one good fold in the fabric as it sits on your shoe.

holland esquire in tk maxx is the big bargain for 150.

Skip the suit. Get some nice trousers and a neat summer jacket, like a plain Harrington. You'll rarely, if ever, wear the jacket if it's just for prancing round the office. Save yourself a bundle.
