Just started Season 4. Season 3 was a bit weak so hoping it picks up! Anyone else a fan?

Probably my favourite show on TV right now. I enjoyed season 3 though! Love how they've just gone mad with the crazy ideas increasingly over the seasons.

whats the general jist innit?

Yeah, enjoying it... that last episode was a bit strange... hope it doesn't go down the Heroes road though.

Also, Walter Bishop is one of the best characters ever imo.

Government paranormal investigators who find themselves in a far deeper problem than they could have ever imagined... wouldn't want to say any more than that really.

Great show but wtf is up with episode 19 of the latest season. Walter Bishop was also great in Lord of the Rings.

Ahhhh im only up to episode 7 on season 4! Please no spoilers!!

Great news on it getting a fifth and final season :)

As someone said before, take the government agency part of the X-Files, mix it with the complete WTF twistiness of Lost and add a fair sprinkling of humour. And, it's pretty much answered its lingering questions as it went along, so there's nothing too huge hanging in the air to resolve, unlike that other JJ Abrams show.

Episode 19 has apparently always been their "weird" episode - Brown Betty in season 2 where it becomes some kind of musical noir show or Lysergic Acid Diethylamide in season 3 where they take LSD and end up in cartoon form.

Also, the show has put Leonard Nimoy back on our screens again and that's just great.

hhmmm, I don't remember the cartoon one... or do i?

Who was Walter Bishop in Lord of the Rings?

It was like this:

John Noble played Denethor, the mad king in Return of the King who set himself on fire and fell off the top of the city.

Loved this episode!!!

It has everything. There is enough mystery to keep you interested but like you said, nothing is left lingering too long. The humour in it is fantastic. Walter is so funny.

His inability to get Astrid's name right is a hoot!

ah yes, remember it now Matthew... flip, there really has been some brilliant Fringe episodes when you think about it.

I enjoy Fringe but stopped watching mid season 4, might start again.

Last episode I really enjoyed was the serial killer that stole happy memories

Olivia with red hair FTW!

0 |

The one with Robocop in it time-travelling and trying to save his wife was superb.

0 |

aye, alternate Olivia is great... normal one is a bit melty and possibly my least favourite character.

0 |

eh Matthew??
